Description

The Course Aims to cover mechanical vibration – Basic Theory and application of Finite Element Methods with Hands on Sessions and Industrial Case Studies.

Description of the Course

The course covers basic concepts of vibrations and its applications. Study of vibrations is important to mechanical, aeronautical and civil engineers. It is necessary for a design engineer to have a sound knowledge of vibrations. The emphasis is on application to common engineering situations. The main aim of the course is to prepare the participants to tackle complex and frontier technological problems in vibrations. Thus, participants will gain theoretical knowledge of mechanical vibration and its practical applications with the ability to solve vibration problems using finite element analysis software. The participants will also be trained to identify and rectify the errors while solving vibration problems and interpret the results from the analysis. The course is composed of approximately both theory and practical’s with commercial software in solving vibration problems.
