This course is planned for press tool design of different type of press tool construction - single stage, compound, progressive..etc, calculating forming loads, materials, formability checking, optimisation and inputs required for simulations. However sheet forming simulation practical is covered in the advanced course.
This Course aims to cover from basic to advanced concepts and best practices of press tool design and the effect of parameters such as geometry, material properties, loading, press curves and binder / blank holder capabilities on Sheetmetal forming process. This course will teach hand calculations for forming loads, forming limits, formability checking…etc
Participants can bring their real-life issues; and our expert trainers will guide on how to solve the problems associated with defect and optimising the process.
