It is used in automation like automatic air conditioning systems, security system, automatic door systems and many more applications. Hence mechatronic engineers should possess the core skills not only in mechanical engineering but also in electrical and electronics engineering. These knowledge enables them to solve a wide range of mechanical, electrical and software problems, allowing them to participate in and lead multidisciplinary design teams.
