This workshop aims to cover Contact Mechanics Theory and hands on practical simulation of application engineering problems using finite element analysis programs. Course has three parts

  • Part A : Theory
  • Part B : Practical Problem Solving
  • Part C : Projects

About the instructors

Dr. Jagadish. T  brings more than 35 years of experience in teaching and applying FEM concept to theoretical and real world problems. His book in the area of Finite Element Concepts, which includes “Solid Mechanics - Theory and FEM Analysis. Currently he is leading the team of researchers at DHIO Research and Engineering Pvt Ltd.,  in providing collaborative R&D Services on Computational Engineering related to Structural Mechanics, Thermal-Fluid, Material Science, Manufacturing Process. He is authority in Computational Mechanics and published number of papers in National & International Journals. Dr. Jagadish T also supports  Institute of Structural Integrity and Failure Studies (ISIFS) focussed on fatigue, durability and fracture mechanics studies as Technical Director
